Dalder.lv beta testing phase begins
We’re happy to announce that alpha testing on the platform is completed, and we’re now entering the final stage – beta testing. During the first stage of testing, we received user feedback on the functionality of the portal and any errors; we then implemented the feedback and improved the platform.
Portal statistics by the end of alpha testing:
- 36 000 unique visitors;
- 800 registered users;
- 15 000 published ads.
Newest functions of Dalder.lv
During alpha testing, we added several important functions to the platform:
- We’ve added phone number verification to the registration process in order to raise confidence in users and their published content;
- We've made significant improvements to the mobile version of the platform;
- We’ve introduced the option to automatically import advertisements via XML. The development of this function is still in progress, with additional options and improvements coming soon;
- We’ve added a chat functionality to help users communicate.
Portal sections improved during alpha testing
The sections that have seen the strongest development at this stage are:
- Dating, in particular Man seeking woman and Woman looking for a man
- Real estate, in particular Rent apartment and Sells apartment
- Accessories, in particular Watches, Men’s watches, Women’s watches, and Jewellery
- Cars
- as well as other sales directions – Coupons un Gifts
In response to user demand, we’ve also introduced new sections:
We invite users to continue publishing their offers and receive guaranteed returns on investment.
Aims of the beta testing phase
During beta testing, we will focus on notifications (profile and e-mail notifications about new advertisements according to the filters saved, and e-mail notifications about new messages), user experience (UX) improvements, development of the search function and the introduction of several new sections for products and services.
